Flatwoods, WV – Christopher Varner received the West Virginia Society of Professional Surveyors (WVSPS) 2017 Future Surveyor Award during the Society’s annual convention February 23-25 in Flatwoods, WV. In 2014, the Society established the Future Surveyor Award to help aspiring surveying students by providing them with equipment and supplies they will need in their career in surveying. The prize is not given freely. The students must first meet a set of criteria and perform assignments established by the WVSPS Education Committee Chairman.
The West Virginia Society of Professional Surveyors is the professional organization that supports land surveying in the state of West Virginia.
