
Eastern Panhandle Chapter Seminar Set for July 13
We are pleased to announce that registration for the Eastern Panhandle Chapter Seminar is now open!
The Eastern Panhandle Chapter of WVSPS will be hosting their annual seminar on July 13, 2018 at The Holiday Inn in Martinsburg, WV. This year’s seminar will highlight Minimum Standards, Ethics and Measuring Ancient Works presented by Don Teter and offers a total of 8 PDHs.
Friday, July 13
8:00am – 10:00am
Minimum Standards (2 PDHs)
A review of laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of surveying in West Virginia, with particular emphasis on the minimum standards.
10:00am – 12:00pm
Ethics for Surveyors (2 PDHs)
This course looks at the Historic context of Ethical Standards, quoting and discussing the writings of distinguished authors
1:00pm – 5:00pm
Measuring Ancient Works (4 PDHs)
Who were the “Moundbuilders”, and how did they plan and guide their projects? The seminar is an overview of three aspects of measurement of Ancient American Works.
Registration is $160 for WVSPS members and $200 for non-members. Members of out-of-state Societies may receive the WVSPS member rate if proof of membership is sent to our Admin Office at wvsps@wvsps.org.
