GPS Interference Testing This Week (Sept 14–16)

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting a wide-area GPS interference testing taking place on September 14-16, 2026, and may result in unreliable or unavailable GPS signal. This will impact nearly the entire state of North Carolina and parts of the surrounding states, and the impacted airspace will be surface to UNL (altitudes greater than 99,900 FT).

Testing will be conducted each day from 11:00am EDT to 7:00pm EDT.
