Say “Hello” to the WVSPS Convention Committee!
The West Virginia Society of Professional Surveyors (WVSPS) is a society built on the actions and commitment of our volunteers and committees. Without their efforts, the society would not exist. We will take the time to recognize one committee and their members, highlighting the actions they take in order to make the WVSPS the best surveying association possible. This month, we would like to introduce the Convention Committee.
WVSPS Convention Committee
Committee Chair: Julie Hewett
Admins: Rachel Hewett and Amoritia Strogen-Hewett
Committee Meeting Time: Monday, October 23, 2025 at 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Meetings occur on the second Monday of each month.
Committee Members: Robert Andriotto, Doug Bell, Danielle Endicott, John Green, Dwayne Hall, Paul Hicks, Lloyd Kirk, Leon Mallow, Mack McCarty, and Don Teter.
Committee Responsibilities: The Convention Committee shall select the date and location of the Annual Convention and make arrangements for the facilities and program.
Members of the Convention Committee shall include the Executive Director, President-elect, the Vice-President, and at least three other members appointed by the President. The Committee shall choose a chairperson from its membership.
Heads up—our Annual Convention is making a move!
This upcoming year, the WVSPS Annual Convention will be held in April, 16-18, 2026 at the Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, WV. New season, same great community. We hope you’ll join us!
