#WVSPS26 Featured Speaker – Lloyd Kirk
WVSPS is excited to welcome Lloyd Kirk, Survey Practice Leader for Triad Engineering’s Southwestern Regional Office, as a presenter during the 58th Annual WVSPS Convention at the Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, WV.
He is presenting his seminar in two sessions (4 PDH total):
- Seminar: Certified Floodplain Surveyor Certification Program

Originally licensed in North Carolina, Lloyd returned to West Virginia after 24 years of surveying across several southern states and was licensed to practice in West Virginia in 2012.
As an early participant in the Certified Floodplain Surveyor Program (NC CFS #139), Lloyd intends to explore the possibility of establishing the NSPS CFS Program through WVSPS and in coordination with the National Society of Professional Surveyors. The CFS certification provides a greater understanding of the NFIP, a more streamlined application process for LOMAs and LOMR-Fs, and expands the expertise Professional Surveyors can offer to their communities.
